Susan R. Stoltz, Author

Ms. Stoltz has extensive writing experience including newspaper, journalism, magazine articles, memoir, and children's books. A dynamic public speaker at writing conferences and in classrooms her schedule has her headed all over the country.

Susan is very passionate about education and conservation. To her, one of the best things about working at a zoo is learning about all the animals and being able to share that passion with others. This has inspired her to write books that emphasize how important animals are in the world in a way that makes students excited about what they're learning.

When she's not writing, working, or reading, Susan is an avid gardener, a horsewoman, and she's crazy about her two Jack Russell Terriers, Dash and Zoom. She is deeply embedded in the culture and lifestyle of the western United States and her bucket list is to visit every National Park in the country.
